<br />The City Council of Centerville, Minnesota met in a special session on Thursday, <br />September 4, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall. Present were Mayor Tom Wilharber, <br />Council members Steve King, Ben Fehrenbacher, D. Love and Jeff Paar. Also present <br />were Administrator Dallas Larson and recruitment consultant Richard Fursman. The <br />purpose of the meeting was to review job applicants for the City Administrator Position. <br /> <br />Mr. Fursman reviewed the highlights of the qualifications of the ten applicants that he <br />suggested that Council consider for interviews. He recommended that Council interview <br />five or six candidates. After considerable discussion and questioning of the consultant, <br />Council ranked the candidates and by consensus agreed on five that will be interviewed. <br /> <br />The interviews will be a three step process beginning on September 12. Candidates will <br />have one-on-one meetings with council followed by dinner as a large group. Then on <br />September 13, the candidates will be interviewed by Council and a separate staff panel. <br />The staff panel will present their findings, after which, Council will select a candidate to <br />offer the position to. The entire process should conclude by about 3:00 on September 13. <br /> <br />The meeting was duly adjourned at 8:17 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Dallas Larson, City Administrator <br />
