<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />April 22, 2015 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br />meeting of April 22, 2015 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> Mayor Tom Wilharber <br /> Council Member Jeff Paar (Left @ 7:43 p.m.) <br /> Council Member D. Love <br />Council Member Ben Fehrenbacher (Arrived @ 6:20 p.m.) <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> Council Member King <br /> <br />STAFF: <br /> City Administrator Mike Ericson <br /> Legal Counsel Kurt Glaser <br /> Sergeant Pat Aldrich, Centennial Lakes Police Department (Arrived @ 7:06 p.m.) <br /> Planning & Zoning Commissioner Russ Koski <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber opened the Board of Review & Equalization meeting at 6:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Ken Tolzmann introduced himself to Council and provided them with a brief overview of <br />statistics regarding sales, values and pertinent information involving values of homes for the <br />community along with avenues for residents to appeal their market values. Mr. Tolzmann stated <br />that the commercial market remains flat and no changes were made to land values in this <br />category, whereas, residential values for the most part increased by 3.8%. Mr. Tolzmann stated <br />that preliminary indications are that the market for real estate is coming back with fewer bank <br />owned properties for sale within the community with numbers for last year being 18 to this year <br />being 8. <br /> <br />Mr. Tolzmann stated that he has received several inquiries and one appraisal regarding a 19 acre <br />parcel. Mr. Tolzmann stated that no one signed up to be heard this evening and that he is <br />available to discuss issues that residents at any time if they contact him. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber thanked Mr. Tolzmann for his review and Mr. Tolzmann thanked Council for <br /> <br />the opportunity to provide his services to them. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber offered an opportunity to the public to address the Board, however, those in <br />attendance desired not to speak on the issue. Mayor Wilharber closed the Board of Review & <br />Equalization meeting at 6:22 p.m. <br /> <br />I.
