<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />November 12, 2015 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br />meeting of November 12, 2015 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> Mayor Tom Wilharber <br /> Council Member Ben Fehrenbacher <br /> Council Member Steve King <br /> Council Member Jeff Paar <br /> Council Member D. Love <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> None. <br /> <br />STAFF: <br /> City Administrator Mike Ericson <br /> City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br /> Public Works Director Paul Palzer <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATION <br /> <br />1. Ms. Julie Jeppson, Development Director, Stepping Stone Emergency Housing <br /> <br />Ms. Jeppson introduced herself to Council stating that Stepping Stone Emergency Housing <br />serves Anoka County youth and adults 18 years of age and older in a dormitory-style setting. <br />Stepping Stone is a temporary housing facility that provides basic needs along with mentoring <br />and life skills training to promote self-sufficiency. Ms. Jeppson formally requested funding <br />support from the City. Council addressed Ms. Jeppson with a number of questions. <br /> <br />Council stated that the City’s preliminary budget has been set for 2016 and suggested that <br />Stepping Stone approach local representatives regarding alternative funding sources. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Lou Suski, Gaughan Companies & Mr. Dan Huffman, ISD# 12 <br /> a. Purchase Offer -1737 Main Street & Abutting Property <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson stated that this item would be addressed under New Business. <br /> <br /> <br />IV. PUBLIC INPUT <br /> <br />
