<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />March 25, 2020 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held a regularly scheduled City <br />Council Meeting on March 25, 2020 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Paar called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Jeff Paar <br />Council Member Russ Koski <br />Council Member Michelle Lakso <br />Council Member D. Love <br />Council Member Matt Montain <br /> <br />ABSENT: None. <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator Mark Statz <br /> City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Paar provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. <br /> <br />City Administrator Statz added Republic Services/COVID-19 under Consent Agenda Item #6. He <br />stated that due to the COVID-19 virus and large amount of trash being collected, Republic Services <br />has requested that yard service and bulk item pickup be discontinued temporarily. He stated that <br />Republic’s primary concern is that garbage and recycling services are essential as the other services <br />are additional. Council Member Lakso had concern regarding the length of temporary suspension <br />and Council Member Love clarified that all trash needed to be included within the container. <br />Administrator Statz stated that the length was currently undetermined and concurred with Council <br />Member Love. <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Approve the <br />Agenda with the Above Stated Modifications. Council Member Lakso, Love, Koski, Montain <br />& Paar voted in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />1. None. <br /> <br />
