<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION & COUNCIL MEETING <br />May 13, 2020 <br />5:00 p.m./6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled City <br />Council Work Session & Council Meeting on May 13, 2020 via Zoom Videoconferencing at: <br />https://zoom.us/j/478824301, Meeting ID: 478 824 301 with audio only available at: 312-626- <br />6799. The meeting was also live streamed by North Metro TV. <br /> <br />COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Love called the work session to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL* <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor D. Love <br />Council Member Russ Koski <br />Council Member Matt Montain <br />Council Member Michelle Lakso (Arrived 5:05 p.m.) <br />Council Member Tom Wilharber <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator Mark Statz <br /> <br />*Note that “present” is construed to mean that the noted individuals were visibly and audibly <br />present on the videoconference call. <br /> <br />II. ITEMS OF DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1. Ambulance Service <br />a. Allina (5:00) Susan Long, Kevin Miller <br />b. M Health (HealthEast) (5:45), David Mattes, Tom Edminson, Tom Dunn, <br />Nicholas Lesch, Kevin Kane <br /> <br />Presentations were given by both Allina and M Health regarding their capabilities and plans to <br />serve the City of Centerville with Ambulance Service. Council was afforded an opportunity to <br />ask questions of each group. <br /> <br />2. Administrator Review Process <br /> <br />Lengthy discussion was had regarding the process, how often (monthly/quarterly), <br />micromanaging, template of four (4) goals (what is being completed well and items that could be <br />approved upon), Personnel Board, Attorney Glaser’s role, confidentiality, reporting to Council, <br />state statutes and internal processes. Attorney Glaser stated that these items would then become a <br />part of the Administrator’s annual review. Consensus was to pursue a program of reviews on a <br />quarterly basis. <br /> <br />
