<br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />WORK SESSION & CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 28, 2024 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their Work Session on February 28, <br />2024 at 5:00 PM and their regularly scheduled City Council Meeting on February 28, 2024, in Council <br />Chambers and the meeting was live streamed by North Metro TV at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />WORK SESSION (5:00 PM) <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Love called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br />1. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor D. Love <br />Approved <br />Council Member Darrin Mosher <br />Council Member Raye Taylor <br />Council Member Terry Sweeney <br />Junior Council Member Avery Sauber (Non-Voting) <br /> <br />ABSENT: Council Member Russ Koski <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator, Mark Statz <br /> Assistant City Administrator Athanasia Lewis <br /> Attorney, Kurt Glaser <br /> <br />II. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />1. Retreat Recap <br />Assistant City Administrator Lewis reviewed the presentation that was included in the Council’s packet. <br />2. City Hall Staff Overtime Discussion <br />Administrator Statz reviewed the information that was included in the Council’s packet. He also stated <br />that the City’s Personnel Policy allowed for 80 hours of accrual of overtime, that he felt that with a <br />supervisor’s prior approval, in some instances (i.e., scheduling, project, etc.), overtime was appropriate. <br />Lengthy discussion was had regarding the item and consensus was that Supervisor’s would limit the <br />levels and oversee the projects, workloads, etc. accordingly. <br />3. Open Meeting Law Review <br />City Attorney reviewed the information that was included in the Council’s packet. <br />III. ADJOURNMENT <br />Mayor Love adjourned the meeting at 6:25 p.m. allowing for a 5-minute break prior to commencing <br />Councils regular meeting. <br /> <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />I.
