<br /> <br />ervi{{e <br /> <br />'Estalifisfrd 1857 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />Res. f#08-O~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ACT AS LEGAL SPONSOR <br />FOR THE PROJECTS CONTAINED IN THE REDEVEWPMENT GRANT <br />PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZE ITS SUBMITfAL TO THE DEPATMENT OF <br />EMPWYMENT & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (DEED) FOR FUNDING <br /> <br />1880!M.m Smn, ceratenliiTel fM!N 5S03S <br />6J142lJ.J2JZ Of' '1'~651-429-8629 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that City of Centerville act as the legal sponsor for project(s) <br />contained in the Redevelopment Grant Program to be submitted on JIIIIUlUY 31, 2008 and <br />that the Mayor is hereby authorized to apply to the Department of Employment and <br />Economic Development for funding of this project on bebalf of City ofCenterville. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City of Centerville has the legal authority to apply <br />for financial assistance, and the institutional, manag"naJ, and financial capability to <br />ensure adequate project administration. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sources and amounts of the local match <br />identified in the application are committed to the project identified. <br /> <br />BE IT FURnual RESOLVED that City of Centerville has not violated any Federal, <br />State or local laws pertRining to fraud, bribery, graft., kickbacks, collusion, conflict of <br />interest or other unIawtbI or corrupt practice. <br /> <br />BE IT FURIII.J!;K RESOLVED that upon approval ofits application by the state, <br />City ofCenterviIIe may enter into an agreement with the State ofM"~ for <br />the above refe1enced project(s), and that .t'!ity of Centerville certifies that it will comply <br />with all applicable laws and regulation as stated in all contract asreemeots. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Centerville Mayor, Mary Capra is <br />hereby authorized to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the <br />
