<br />1 ; j.",~ <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville held their <br />regular meeting on Wednesday, December 10, 1975, in the City <br />Hall. Mayor Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />Present were Councilmen L'Allier, Murray and Peterson. Attorney <br />Hawkins was al so in attendance. Absent's Councilman Burque. <br /> <br />Emery Herbert, representative from the Centennial Hockey <br />Assoc iation was in attendance requesting the council to <br />purchase material to make two wooaen boxes for the hockey teams <br />to use during a hockey game. Volunteers to make boxes were <br />available. The boxes would be approximately 5 x 10 with 1 door, <br />made out of marine plywood. Leon L'Allier made a motion to <br />let Mr. Herbert go ahead and buy the lumber to build the boxes <br />for an amount not to exceed $200, John Peterson seconded it, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Proprietors of the three liquor establishments in Center- <br />ville appeared before Council and were issued their 1976 licenses. <br /> <br />Norm Fritchie advised council Dan Tourville had been <br />elected the new Fire Chief effective January 1, 197n, Gerald <br />Determan, Secretary. <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier and Elmer Murray reported on their meeting <br />with representatives of the School Board concernang the ball- <br />field in back of the Centerville Elementary School.. They <br />advised council on insurance needed, keeping up of the field, <br />no cars allowed in area. Council representatives would be <br />meeting with school board on January 9, 1976 to discuss the <br />matter further. <br /> <br />Discussion on dog ordinance was held. Clerk was to type <br />up sample ordinance and send to Mr. Hawkins for any corrections <br />or add!. tions and public hearing \^lould be held on ordinance at <br />the second meeting in January. <br /> <br />Horse ordinance was discussed in l~ngth and council <br />advised of public hearing to be held on same at the January <br />14, 197h meeting. <br /> <br />Two statements from Milner W. Carley & Associates were <br />discussed.
