<br />Board of Canvas was held on Wednesday, November 7, 1984 at <br />6:30 PM in City Hall. Present were Mayor L'Allier, Councilmen <br />Ayers, Baumann and Wilharber. <br /> <br />Results of November 6, 1984 General Election were canvassed: <br /> <br />CITY ELECTION I <br /> <br />Leon L'Allier received 352 votes for office of Mayor. <br /> <br />He was declared the winner. Term to be two years expiring <br />on December 31, 1986. <br /> <br />Michael Ayers received 342 votes for the office of councilman. <br />Richard Robischon received 72 votes for the office of councilman. <br /> <br />Michael Ayers and Richard Robischon were declared the winners. <br />Term of office is four years, expiring on December 31, 1988. <br /> <br />SPECIAL ELECTION: <br /> <br />On the Questionl "Shall the Ci ty of Centerville issue special <br />licenses to on-sale liquor establishments to <br />permit the serving of intoxicating liquor <br />between the hours of 10100 AM and 12100 <br />Midnight on Sunday in conjunction with the <br />serving of food provided that the licensee <br />establishment is in conformity with the <br />Minnesota Clean Indoor Air Act? <br /> <br />YES VOTES - 237 <br />NO VOTES - 187 <br /> <br />5 blank ballots <br />The question passed. <br /> <br />On November 6, 1984 - 429 ballots were cast - <br />Registration on election day - 494 <br />Election day registrations - 73 <br /> <br />November 6, 1984 registered voters in Centerville - 567 <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Q~~ <br /> <br />Debra Gonsior, City Clerk <br />
