3 <br /> dr i <br /> (: a-0` - r2W #+�! s/ � V 18.90 -Hain _Cfskri, Crvarrc idles . 6uv a 50 $F <br /> 7771161771 <br /> 7f1161 : 117 fct'E 6-il )?4.3 3'or =FaL 429 -.V6?9 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> RESOLUTION #10 -012 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br /> ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON IMPROVEMENT <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received approval of a Community Development Block Grant <br /> to facilitate connection of properties owned by families meeting low and moderate <br /> income standards, and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to direction of the City Council, the consulting engineer has <br /> prepared plans and specifications for the construction and installation of water services to <br /> homes covered by such grant, and has presented such plans and specifications to the <br /> Council for approval, and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a <br /> part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> 2. The City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official <br /> paper an advertisement for bids for making of such improvement under such <br /> approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published as <br /> required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be <br /> received by the City Administrator until 10:00 a.m. on July 7, 2010, at which <br /> time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of City Hall by the <br /> City Administrator and engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be <br /> considered by the Council within 30 days of such opening. Any bidder whose <br /> responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given the <br /> opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will <br /> be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and <br /> accompanied by a dash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check <br /> payable to the Clerk for 5% of the amount of such bid. <br />
