<br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting <br />of City Council <br />City of Roseville <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Held: May 21, 1984 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council <br />of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall in said <br />City on Monday, the 21st day of May, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kehr, Franke, Johnson, Curley, and Demos. <br /> <br />and, the following members were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Franke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7612 <br /> <br />LEND-LEASE OF AN INTOXILYZER 5000 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville, Minnesota, enter into an agreement <br />with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, for the following <br />purpose: <br /> <br />To receive from the State of Minnesota, Department of Public <br />Safety, an Intoxilyzer 5000 breath test instrument and breath <br />alcohol simulator on a loan basis. The instruments are to be <br />used by law enforcement officers to assist them in the detection <br />of motorists who may be in violation of Minnesota Statutes, <br />Section 169.121, or other Minnesota laws or local ordinances <br />or other law enforcement purposes. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager and Police Chief arc hereby <br />authorized to execute such agreement. <br /> <br />The above listed resolution was seconded by member Kehr, and upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present <br /> <br />and, the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
