<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Tuesday, the 26th <br />day of August, 1996 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, and Wall, <br />and the following were absent: Wiski. <br /> <br />Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.9 32 2A <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING THAT A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT AND <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ARE NOT REQUIRED CONCERNING THE DENNIS <br />BATTY/ROSEVILLE COVENANT CHURCH REQUEST FOR CITY APPROVALS AT 2865 <br />HAMLINE AVENUE NORTH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed church site is partially designated Low Density Residential and <br />partially designated business on the City's Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed church site is partially zoned R-1 Single Family residential and <br />partially zoned B-1 Limited Business; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed church structure will be located on the portion of the site <br />designated as Low Density Residential and zoned R-1 Single Family Residential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, church uses are compatible with the low density residential designation and the <br />R-l Single Family Residential zoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the portion of the site designated for business use and zoned B-1 Limited <br />Business will be used for accessory parking purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, accessory parking is compatible with the business designation and B-1 Limited <br />Business zoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission recommended approval of a finding, after <br />a public hearing on June 12, 1996, that the proposed use would be compatible with the current <br />Comprehensive Plan designation and zoning and would not require a conditional use permit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council conducted a public hearing on this matter on August <br />26, 1996. <br />
