<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called <br />and held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on <br />Monday, the eighteenth day of March, 1985, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Franke, Johnson, Kehr and Demos <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Curley <br /> <br />Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7701 <br /> <br />Resolution ordering the construction of improvement P-84-30 <br />and relating to parking on Oakcrest Avenue. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that in <br />accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 1961, Chapter 429, as <br />amended, the council held a public hearing on the proposed construction of <br />improvement No. P-84-30 consisting of the installation of bituminous paving, <br />concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances on all that property <br />abutting Oakcrest Avenue from Fairview Avenue to Fry Street, as described in <br />the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $223,337.12 and <br />substantially in accordance with the preliminary report as to the feasibility <br />thereof which is now on file in the office of the city manager; and having <br />considered the views of all interested persons and being fully advised in the <br />premises, the council does hereby determine ordered that said improvement shall <br />be constructed and financed, and special assessments shall be levied therefore, <br />pursuant to said Chapter 429, and that the area proposed to be assessed <br />therefore shall include the property as described in the Nortice of Hearing. <br />The City Public Works Director is directed to prepare and submit to the council <br />the final plans and specifications. <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, Oakcrest Avenue from Fairview Avenue to Fry Street is <br />a Municipal State Aid Street and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such roadways must conform to established standards, including the <br />prohibition of parking on one side for thirty-four foot wide designs. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that parking is hereby prohitbited on the south side <br />of Oakcrest (M.S.A. No. 228) from Fairview Avenue to Fry Street identified as <br />Roseville Project No. P-84-30 be adopted. <br />
