<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />on July 11, 1988 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kehr, Cushman, Matson, Johnson, and <br />Rog. <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8311 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. P-86-14 <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No. P-86-14 of the <br />City of Roseville on all that property abutting Lydia Avenue from <br />Highcrest Road to Brenner Street and Stranbridge Street from Lydia <br />Avenue to Patton Road by the installation of bituminous paving, concrete <br />curb and gutter, and necessary appurtenances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the foregoing is in the area described in the legal notice <br />relating to the original hearing on the improvement and the resolution <br />relating thereto, and the contract price for such improvement is <br />$95,750.20 and the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in <br />the making of said improvements amounts to $14,763.31 so that the <br />total cost of the improvements will be $110,513.51, and of this cost <br />the City will pay $91,570.00 as its share of the cost. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The cost to be specifically assessed is hereby declared to be <br />$18,943.51. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager, together with the assistance of the City Public <br />Works Director, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be <br />specially assessed for such work against every assessable lot, <br />piece or parcel of land within the improvements affected, without <br />regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a <br />copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public <br />inspection. The City Manager may arrange for the assistance of the <br />Data Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation <br />of the proposed assessment roll. <br />
