<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city <br />council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly <br />held in the city Hall at 2660 civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, <br />on Monday, the ninth day of October, 1989, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: CUshman, Matson, Johnson, Kehr, <br />and Rag, <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Kehr <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8505 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY TO IMPOSE NO-PARKING <br />RESTRICTIONS ON HAMLINE AVENUE, LARPENTEUR TO CO. RD. B <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville in cooperation with <br />Ramsey County adopted Resolution No. 8492 ordering improvement P-SW-89-16 <br />including improvements to Hamline Avenue from Larpenteur Avenue to <br />County Road B on August 28, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the project will be reconstructed by Ramsey County using county <br />state aid highway funds to fund all or a portion of the project costs; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to qualify for county state aid funding based upon projected <br />traffic volumes, a roadway of 52 feet in width must be posted for no- <br />parking on both sides; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville as follows: <br /> <br />The Ramsey County Board has hereby requested to impose parking <br />restrictions prohibiting parking on both sides of Hamline Avenue from <br />Larpenteur Avenue to County Road B. These parking restrictions shall be <br />imposed at such time as the reconstruction project involving Hamline <br />Avenue from Larpenteur to County Road B is completed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Matson and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and Rag, <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: Johnson. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
