<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 23rd day of October, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and Rog, <br />and the following were absent: Johnson. <br /> <br />Member Matson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8508 <br /> <br />Authorizing the City Manager to Execute Acceptance of Grant from the <br />Metropolitan Council Arts Sponsorship Assistance Program <br />In the Amount of $750 for the 1990 Summer Concert Series <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to seek a grant from the Metro- <br />politan Council for state funding as part of its Summer Entertainment <br />in the Park Series to expand programming, and is proposing to have <br />"Theater 65" do an outreach performance in Roseville's Central Park <br />Amphitheater; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council requires that all grantees authorize <br />and specify by resolution of their governing body the individual to <br />apply for and execute the grant agreement on behalf of the organization; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager is authorized to <br />apply for and execute on behalf of the City of Roseville a grant <br />agreement with the Metropolitan Council for a "Theater 65" Outreach <br />Performance in Roseville's Central Park Amphitheater during the Summer <br />of 1990. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and Rog, and <br />the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
