<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of May, 2005, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Klausing, and Council Members Ihlan, <br />Kough, Maschka, and Schroeder <br /> <br />Council Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10303 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A7 OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR 2824 LAKEVIEW AVENUE (PF3638) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Russell Cattelan has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1004.01A7 <br />(Location) of the Roseville City Code to allow the replacement of a detached accessory structure <br />in the front yard of 2824 Lakeview Avenue his property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property (2824 Lakeview Avenue) is legally described as: <br /> <br />Mogren's Subdivision part of Government Lot 3, Block 6 <br />PIN 02-29-23-31-0037 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A7 (Location) does not allow a detached accessory structure <br />within a front yard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the front yard is deemed the area from the front of the principal structure <br />(home) to the front property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposal by Mr. Cattelan seeks to replace his existing non-conforming <br />detached accessory structure with a larger structure in a similar location; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 4, 2005 concluding <br />that "hardships" are present and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of <br />the Roseville City Code; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to <br />approve a VARIANCE to Section 1004.0 lA 7 (Location) allowing the replacement of a non- <br />conforming detached accessory structure in the front yard of2824 Lakeview Avenue, subject to <br />the following conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
