EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 20th day of June, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: Kough, Ihlan, Schroeder, Maschka and Klausing and the following were absent: none. Councilmember Maschka introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 10314 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REDESIGNATION OF CITY-OWNED LAND FOR STORM WATER MANAGEMENT PURPOSES WHEREAS, the City previously acquired tax forfeited property described as follows: Lots 5, 6 and 7, Block 19, James Fourth Addition, Subject to Northern States Power Company easement and drainage easement and subject to sewer easement over Lot 5; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes require tax forfeited property to be used for intended public purposes; and WHEREAS, the property has been designated for Parks and Recreation purposes; and WHEREAS, the City has been using this property for storm drainage purposes continuously for over 20 years; and WHEREAS, this property is a necessary part of the City's drainage infrastructure; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that the City of Roseville hereby designates this parcel for storm water management purposes. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schroeder and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereof: Kough, Ihlan, Schroeder, Maschka and Klausing, and the following voted against the same: none. WHEREUPON, the said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
