<br />City of <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />City Council Study Session <br />Minutes <br />Roseville City Hall Council Chambers <br />Monday, August 15,2005 <br /> <br />Call Roll <br />Mayor Klausing called the Study Session of the Roseville City Council <br />to order at 6:00 p.rn. in the City Hall Council Chambers on the above <br />date and welcomed everyone. <br /> <br />Call Roll <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Roll Call (Voting Order) <br />Councilmembers Ihlan; Kough; Maschka and Mayor Klausing. <br />Councilmember Schroeder had previously advised of a schedule <br />conflict and that he would be unavailable for tonight's meeting. <br /> <br />City Attorney Jay Squires was also present. <br /> <br />Approve Agenda Approve Agenda <br />Mayor Klausing called for any comments or discussion on tonight's <br />Agenda. <br /> <br />1. Receive Public Comment about City Issues Public Comment <br />Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the <br />audience on any non-agenda items. <br /> <br />No one was present to speak. <br />2. Presentation about Northwest Youth and Family Services Northwest Youth & <br />(NYFS) Family Services <br />NYFS Executive Director Kay Andrews <br />Ms. Andrews presented an overview of the programs of the <br />NYFS, those programs having grown and adapted to meet <br />emerging needs of communities served over the last 29 years. <br />Ms. Andrews noted that they serve 3,000 clients each year <br />through counseling services, youth run business programs, <br />diversion services, a senior chore program, parent support groups <br />and a day treatment center for youth. Ms. Andrews also noted <br />that NYFS attempted to serve entire families at one time through <br />
