<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of June, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Ihlan, Pust, Maschka, and Mayor Klausing <br /> <br />Council Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10410 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR LA FITNESS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1013 OF THE ROSEVILLE <br />CITY CODE, ALLOWING A 55,000 SQ. FT. HEALTH & FITNESS CLUB <br />AT 2420 CLEVELAND AVENUE (PF3758) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, LA Fitness has requested a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT in accordance <br />with Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code to allow a health & fitness club on property <br />addressed at 2420 Cleveland A venue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property 2420 Cleveland Avenue is legally described as: <br /> <br />ATTACHED <br />PIN 09-29-23-32-0003 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1005.015 allows a health & fitness center as a CONDITIONAL <br />USE within the B-2, Retail Business District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1013.01 establishes specific criteria to be reviewed/supported with <br />all CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposal by LA Fitness seeks to redevelop the property into a 55,000 sq. <br />ft. fitness center and other associated site improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on June 7, 2006 concluding <br />that the proposal is consistent with the criteria of Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted (7-0) to recommend approval of the <br />request, subject to 12 conditions. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant <br />a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT to LA Fitness allowing the redevelopment of the property at <br />2420 Cleveland Avenue, based on the findings of Section 5 of the project report dated June 20, <br />2006 and subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
