<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council ofthe City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, July II, 2005 at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Schroeder, Ihlan, Kough and Maschka and the following were <br />absent: Klausing. <br /> <br />Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10320 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING <br />THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT <br />P-ST-OS-06, S. OWASSO BOULEVARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Roseville adopted June 13,2005 fixed a <br />date for a public hearing on Project P-ST-05-06, S. Owasso Boulevard and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that in <br />accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a <br />public hearing on July 11,2005, to consider the proposed construction of Project P-ST-05-06, S. <br />Owasso Boulevard, consisting of the installation of sidewalk, bituminous paving, concrete curb and <br />gutter, sanitary sewer service repair, watermain replacement, at a cost presently estimated at <br />drainage facilities, and necessary appurtenances on all that property abutting or using S. Owasso <br />Boulevard for access, between Rice Street and Dale Street, as described in the Notice of Hearings at <br />a cost presently estimated at $2,489,401.22 and substantially in accordance with the preliminary <br />report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; at which all <br />persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, and having considered <br />the views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby determine and order that said <br />improvement shall be constructed and financed and that all streets be constructed substantially as <br />recommended in the feasibility report. The City Engineer is directed to prepare and submit to the <br />Council the final plans and specifications for the improvement. In preparing the plans consideration <br />should be given to the comments received at the public hearing regarding: curb design, street width, <br />and pathway alignment. The assessment rate shall be determined by Council resolution in the future. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Maschka and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Schroeder, Ihlan, Kough, and <br />Maschka and the following voted against the same: none. <br />
