~SI3VfbbE City Council Minutes Work Session - Regular Meeting July 22, 2002 The City Council met on the above date with all members present with 5:30 p.m. the exception of Mayor Kysylyczyn, with Councilmember Kough Roll Call serving in his capacity as Acting Mayor. Roll Call: (Voting Order): Maschka, Schroeder, Kough and Klausing Absent: Kysylyczyn (arrived after voluntary Budget Work Session) Work Session 5:30 p.m. I.. Review of Re2ular Meetin!! A2enda City Manager Beets advised Acting Mayor Kough that a representative of the consulting firm that had prepared the Natural Resources Management Plan was in the audience to address any questions regarding regular agenda, Item VIII., Consent Agenda, Item A. Council had no questions. Regular Meeting Agenda Review II. Additional Staff Presentations A. Budget Work Session #1, Overview Budget Overview City Manager Beets introduced the purposes of this first Budget Work Session, and reviewed the 2003 budget process to-date. Mr. Beets encouraged Councilmembers, and members of the public, to be involved in the process. Mr. Beets advised that, subject to the Mayor's authority to establish agendas, additional Budget Work Sessions were tentatively scheduled as follows: o July 22 o July 29 Budget Overview; Administration Department; Ci ty Council and Commissions; o August 1 (Thursday) Public Safety Functions (Police and Fire);
