EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 12th day of January, 1998, <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, Wiski, Wall <br />and the following were absent: None <br />Member Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9511 <br />AMENDMENT TO THE ROSEVILLE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REVISING THE MAP <br />OF THE EXISTING PLAN ADOPTED IN 1979 AND AS AMENDED IN 1994 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville City Council approved and adopted the 1994 <br />amendments (and appendices and adoptions by reference) to the City of Roseville <br />Comprehensive Guide Plan, subject to review and comments of the plan by the <br />Metropolitan Council; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on December 10, 1997, and the Planning <br />Commission recommended that a revision be made to the map of the Comprehensive <br />Guide Plan, changing the designation of a acre parcel of land from Business to High <br />Density Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the City Council on Monday, January 12, <br />1998, to consider said amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council made the following findings: <br />The City’s Comprehensive Plan map designates the entire parcel located at <br />2075 Snelling Avenue North as Business and the entire parcel located at <br />2096 Fry Street North as High Density Residential. <br />however, it is the policy of the City to discourage the encroachment of <br />acres of the parcel to the adjacent parcel, along with the designation of the <br /> acres as high density residential and the rezoning of the parcel to <br />will remove the commercial encroachment into a residential area. <br />Resolution 9511 Page 1 of 2 <br />
