--. <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 18�' day of May, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Roe, Johnson Ihlan, Pust, and Mayor Kalusing <br />and no Members were absent. <br />Council Member Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10709 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH §1005.015 AND §1013.01 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PAWN <br />AMERICA LLC AND OSBORN PROPERTIES LIMITED PARTNERSHIP (PF09-011) <br />WHEREAS, Osborne Properties Limited Partnership own the property referred to as <br />McCarrons Hills Shopping Center, 1685 — 1717 Rice Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as: <br />The Easterly 300 feet of the East half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of <br />Section 13, Township 29, Range 23, except the South 200 feet of the East 200 feet thereof <br />and except that part lying North of the center line of the lane running North 79 degrees 35 <br />minutes West from a point on the east line of said Section 13 distant 575.6 feet North of the <br />Southeast corner thereof. <br />Torrens Certificate # 257982 <br />PIN 123-29-23-44-0012 <br />WHEREAS, through the applicant, Pawn America LLC, the property owners seek to allow the <br />expansion of the Pawn America use, which is a conditionally permitted use in the applicable <br />General Business Zoning District; and <br />WHEREAS, The Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />requested CONDITIONAL USE, voting 6-0 to recommend approval of the request based on <br />public comment and the comments and findings of the staff report dated February 6, 2008 and <br />revised conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has determined that approval of the requested <br />CONDITIONAL USE will not adversely affect conditions on, or value of, nearby properties and <br />will not compromise the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Roseville; <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
