June 26, 2009
Edward Stroot
3090 Snelling Avenue
Roseville, MN 55113

-r.
RE: Administrative Deviation approval
Dear Mr. Stroot,

As you know, your Administrative Deviation request to accommodate the proposed driveway
expansion on your property was reviewed on Thursday June 25th
The review committee found that the proposal will not have any adverse impacts on the factors
identified for consideration in Section 1013.05 of the City Code, and consequently recommended
approval of the Administrative Deviation allowing the driveway to come as close as two feet
from the adjacent side property line with the condition that the existing pattern of drainage in the
area of the proposed expansion is not altered.
I concur with the committee's recommendation, so I have approved the requested Administrative
Deviation with the above condition. Since you have already applied for the required Property
Improvement Permit, I will inform Gerry Proulx, the residential building inspector, that the
driveway permit may be issued pursuant to his review and after the expiration of the mandatory
10-day appeal period on July 6, 2009.
Should you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to call me at 651-792-7071.
Sincerely,
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
-' '
Patrick Trudg on
Community Development irector
copy: Gerry Proulx
City of Roseville Community Development Department
2660 Civic Center Drive •: Roseville, Minnesota 55113
651-792-7005 : TDD 651-792-7399 s• www.ci.roseville.mn.us
