<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, November 8, 1999, at <br />6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Goedeke, Wiski & Wall, and the following were <br />absent: Maschka. <br /> <br />Councilmember Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9709 <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE REALIGNMENT OF <br />THE DALE STREET/ ROSELA WN AVENUE P A THW A Y BETWEEN <br />RESERVOIR WOODS PARK AND LARPENTEUR AVENUE <br />CITY PROJECT M-98-11 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Roseville was adopted July 26, 1999, <br />ordering the construction of Improvement M-98-11, Dale Street! Roselawn Avenue Pathway, and <br />preparation of plans and specifications; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, negotiations for the needed right-of-way with the property owner of the property <br />adjacent to the first 721 feet of the pathway along Dale Street have been unsuccessful; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is working with Ramsey County Parks and Recreation on realigning the <br />pathway, connecting Reservoir Woods Park with Ramsey County Open Space east of Kent Street <br />at Larpenteur Avenue; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County would waive just compensation and dedicate the needed easements <br />for the proposed realignment; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff will continue to work with the neighborhood as plans are finalized; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that <br />the Council approves the proposed realignment of the Dale Street! Roselawn Avenue Pathway <br />between Reservoir Woods Park and Larpenteur Avenue. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Wiski and upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mastel, <br />Goedeke, Wiski & Wall, and the following voted against the same: none. <br />
