<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 14th day of August, <br />2000, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wiski, Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke and Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9800 <br />AUTHORIZING ENTRY UPON PARCEL OF LAND <br />RELATEDTOT~NLAKESREDEVELOPMENTPROJECT <br />FOR ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, regarding the Twin Lakes Redevelopment Project, one of the affected <br />parcels of land is owned by Regor, Inc., and leased by Transport <br />International Pool, Inc. ("TIP") (hereinafter referred to as the "Subject <br />Property"); <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Subject Property is identified by property identification number 04-29- <br />23-33-0008, and is identified as Parcel No.4 on the attached Twin Lakes <br />Parkway Parcel Impacts map; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed Twin Lakes Parkway will cross over a portion of the Subject <br />Property; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has reason to believe that acquisition of the portion of the Subject <br />Property intended for the Twin Lakes Parkway, and acquisition of an <br />Excess Parcel of the Subject Property, as identified on the attached Twin <br />Lakes Parkway Parcel Impacts map as Parcel #4 Excess Parcel, may be <br />required pursuant to eminent domain proceedings; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has reason to believe that a hazardous substance, pollutant, or <br />contaminant is present on the Subject Property or the release of a <br />hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminant may have occurred or is <br />likely to occur on the Subject Property; <br />
