Our
Neighbors to the North (actually Northeast), TIm and Julie Anderson, I Ive at 2929 Old Highway 8
and use the drIveway as theIr only access to theIr hOuse and garage. Our neIghbor to the West
(actually Northwest), DavId Berry, at 2529 Maple Lane, along wIth hIs tenants have used the
drIveway for access to a garage at the rear of the property. Mr. Berry has recently bul It a new
garage on the front of his duplex. He Intends to convert his backyard garage to a work or
storage building and plans to use the drIveway only occaslonally. We currently seldom use thIs
drIveway. We may need It more In the future to directly enter our house on the main ¡eve!.
Since we have l1ved here, almost ten years, almost all of the drIveway maintenance has
been done by the owner of property to the North, currently TIm & Julie Anderson. ThIs consIsts
primarily of grooming the gravel to prevent erosIon and of plowIng snow. it Is a continuIng
chore.
The Southernmost 6 feet of the 20 foot easement Is the sIte of burled telephone cable
servIcing 2523,2525,2529,and 2531 Maple Lane. GIven thIs and current and prOjected uses of
the driveway as discussed above It seems to make more sense jf the neighbors at 2929 Old
Highway 8 owned the Northernmost 14 feet of the current easement.
We would like to give (for one dollar) this 14 foot strip, about 163 feet long, to Tim and
Julie. As primary users they would enjoy the securIty of owning IUhe current egress and
ingress agreements would be revIsed accordingly before the property is transferred.
Our questions to you are:
.J Is this possible?
2,) What steps must we take to make it offIcial?
It Is our understandlnqthat Y,ou would onlY, be concerned with lot lIne chanq,es. The easement
agreements are separate issues between the three parties.. Is this correct?

Sincerely

9F ~H~ ~,£--
Ü".~~

Copies: Tim &Julie Anderson
David Berry

JAm seÑ aut.r O~o~ U1l\ed

\Z-{ß.98
