<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of <br />the City ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 23rd day of July, 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Kysylyczyn, Klausing, and Goedeke <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 9911 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE REVIEW PERIOD REGARDING A <br />REQUEST BY FRED & LAURIE BOUCHER REGARDING THE NEED FOR <br />AN ADDITIONAL VARIANCE TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A 1,008 <br />SQUARE FOOT DETACHED ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR POPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 1166 LAURIE ROAD (PF3329) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application was submitted by Fred and Laurie Boucher for a <br />variance from Section 1004.0lA3 (Detached Accessory Building LimitO and a <br />conditional use permit for the purpose of constructing a 1,008 square foot detached <br />garage (accessory building) on the Boucher parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said application was considered by the Roseville Planning <br />Commission on July 11,2001; and a recommendation made regarding the two requests <br />by the Boucher's; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Staff determined through a field <br />inspection of the principal structure (house) that an additional variance is necessary ftom <br />Section 1004.0lA5 (Overall Area) in order to properly process the Boucher request; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new public hearing and report will be presented to the Roseville <br />Planning Commission at their regularly scheduled meeting of August 8, 2001; and <br /> <br />WHI:REAS, said recommendation by the Planning Commission will not be able to be <br />forwarded to the City Council before the current plan review deadline. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council (the "Council") of <br />the City of Roseville, (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes 15.99, the time line for agency review of the application of Fred and Laurie <br />Boucher for consideration of a variance to Section 1004.0lA3 and Section 1004.0lA5 of <br />the Roseville City Code, and a conditional use permit, be extended for 60 days, ftom <br />August 9, 2001 to October 8,2001. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Klausing and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Mastel, Mashka, Kysylyczyn, Klausing, and Goedeke. <br /> <br />and the following voted against: none <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
