<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of July 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Kysylyczyn, Klausing, and Goedeke <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9914 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 25 FOOT VARIANCE FROM SECTION 1007.01AIA <br />AND A 10 FOOT VARIANCE FROM SECTION 1007.01AIA OF THE ROSEVILLE <br />CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2361 WEST HIGHWAY 36 (PF 3328) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bonestroo & Associates have requested a 25 foot variance for the west side <br />of the structure and a lO foot variance from the south side of the structure for the purpose of <br />using the existing building for office and for a mechanical room addition; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Bonestroo property is located at 2316 West Highway 36, legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />Revised Description No. 1140, a specific part of the Northeast ~ of the Southwest ~ of <br />Section 8, Township 29, Range 23, City of Roseville, Minnesota (PID # 082923310007). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section l007.0lAla ofthe Roseville City Code requires a front yard <br />setback of 40 feet from a property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Bonestroo property is a corner lot having a 40 foot setback requirement <br />adjacent S1. Croix Street (west) and West Highway 36 (south); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bonestroo proposes to convert the office warehouse structure into a primary <br />office bu i [ding and needs an new mechanical room to house the HV AC equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />variance request by Mr. Bonestroo & Associates and recommended (7-0) to approve the request, <br />based on findings outlined in Section 4 ofthe project report dated 7/11/01. <br /> <br />1 <br />
