EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 13,2001, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Klausing, Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka and Kysylyczyn, and the following were absent: None. Council member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and Klausing moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 9915 RESOLUTION RELATING TO CITY PROJECT P-SW-99-14 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P-SW-99-14 of the City of Roseville on all that property within the City of Roseville abutting Larpenteur Avenue, Arona Street to Oxford Street, for the reconstruction of the street by the installation of concrete paving, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, sidewalk installation, utility repair, landscaping, streetscaping, and necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the forgoing is in the area described in the legal notice relating to the original hearing on the improvements and the resolutions relating thereto, and the contract price for such improvements is $5,938,982.00, the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvements amounts to $436,270.95 so that the total cost of the improvements will be $6,375,252.95 and of this cost the City will pay $179,815.00 as its share of the cost. The cost to be specifically assessed is hereby declared to be $278,298.02; and NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: 1. The City Manager, together with the assistance of the City Public Works Director, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the improvements affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. The City Manager may arrange for the assistance of the Data Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed assessment roll. 2. The City Manager shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof for their further action and for their setting of an assessment hearing therefor.
