<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, August 13,2001, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka and Kysylyczyn, and the <br />following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Council member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and Klausing moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9915 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO <br />CITY PROJECT P-SW-99-14 <br />DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, contracts have been let and costs have been determined for Improvement P-SW-99-14 of <br />the City of Roseville on all that property within the City of Roseville abutting Larpenteur Avenue, <br />Arona Street to Oxford Street, for the reconstruction of the street by the installation of concrete paving, <br />concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, sidewalk installation, utility repair, landscaping, streetscaping, <br />and necessary appurtenances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the forgoing is in the area described in the legal notice relating to the original hearing on <br />the improvements and the resolutions relating thereto, and the contract price for such improvements is <br />$5,938,982.00, the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvements <br />amounts to $436,270.95 so that the total cost of the improvements will be $6,375,252.95 and of this cost <br />the City will pay $179,815.00 as its share of the cost. The cost to be specifically assessed is hereby <br />declared to be $278,298.02; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The City Manager, together with the assistance of the City Public Works Director, shall <br />forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against every <br />assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the improvements affected, without regard to cash <br />valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office <br />for public inspection. The City Manager may arrange for the assistance of the Data Processing <br />Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed assessment roll. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council <br />thereof for their further action and for their setting of an assessment hearing therefor. <br />
