North Star Bank

September 1, 1992

Rick Jopke
City of Roseville
2260 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113

Dear Mr. Jopke:

I would like to reaffirm our telephone conversation we had yesterday regarding North Star
Bank's exterior signage:

· October 1991, we were notified by you that our sign was in non-compliance.
· Graphic House Sign Company believed that the sign was installed to specifics of the
permit.
· After discussions, we agreed to file for a variance.
· Our request was scheduled for the January 13, 1992 City Council meeting.
· Prior to this meeting, we were told that there was a moratorium on all sign requests.
· We are being asked by the State of Minnesota to have a sign that has our correct name on
it.

Rick, as I mentioned to you, we are not changing the design of the sign at all. We are only
changing the face of it. It is our intention that as soon as the moratorium is lifted we will be
filing for a variance. I would appreciate your approval on this matter so that Lawrence Sign
Company may complete this project.

Sincerely,

MO:ah

cc: Ted Kroska, Lawrence Sign Co.

1820 North Lexington Avenue · Roseville, Minnesota 55113 · 612/489-8811 · Fax: 489·9541
4661 Highway 61 · White Bear Lake, Minnesota 55110 · 612/429-4531 · Fax: 653-9430
