The property, zoned light industrial, is currently owned by Interstate <br />Detroit Diesel. <br /> <br />The property was granted a special use permit (now referred to as conditional use <br />permit) on December 19, 1977, which allows for sales, service and repair of engines. <br /> <br />This conditional use permit runs with the land. Therefore, changing ownership of the <br />property has no bearing on the effectiveness of the conditional use permit.
