BU~CTOFMWUTESOFMEEnNGOFTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall on Monday, the 10th day of August, 1998, at 6:30 P.M. The following members were present: and the following were absent: introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Council Member GRANTING A VARIANCE TO ALLOW A SECOND ACCESSORY BUILDING AND INCREASE THE LOT COVERAGE TO 70% OF THE REQUIRED REAR YARD AT 2042-2044 DALE STREET NORTH WHEREAS, Section 1004.01 (A) of the Roseville City Code allows one accessory building not exceeding an area equal to 25% of the required rear yard for residential properties; and WHEREAS, Mike Heffernan has requested a variance to allow the construction of a second accessory building and a variance to increase the lot coverage to 70% of the required rear yard for the purpose of constructing a 24' x 36' detached garage at 2042- 2044 Dale Street North, legally described as follows: The South 76.5 feet of the North 1328.5 feet of the West 300 feet of the Northwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, subject to Dale Street (PIN 132923220009); and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the request on Wednesday, July 8, 1998, and recommended approval of the requested variance; and WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation on Monday, July 27, 1998 and with the applicant amended the request for Monday, August 10, 1998, and WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: 1. The proposed variance is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the City's Comprehensive Plan and Title 10 of the City Code (Zoning). Resolution _ - Page 1 of 2
