<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 17th day of June 2002, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10005 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D5 (YARD <br />REQUIREMENTS - FRONT YARD SETBACK) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 812 LOVELL AVENUE (pF 3396). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Richard Vazquez has requested a 7.5 foot variance to Section 1004.02D5 <br />(Yard Requirements - Front Yard Setback) of the Roseville City Code to allow construction of a <br />porch onth the existing home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Vazquez's property is located at 812 Lovell Avenue and legally <br />described at as: <br /> <br />Lot 2 and Lot 3, Block 6, Chas. A. B. Weide's Midway (PID#112923420068) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D5 requires a minimum principal structure front yard <br />setback of 30 feet in single family residential areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Vazquez has sought approval of a entry porch that would lie 22.5 feet <br />from the property line adjacent Lovell Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />variance request by Mr. Vazquez and recommended (5-0) to approve the request, based on <br />findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated 6/05/02. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Richard <br />Vazquez a 7.5 foot variance to Section 1 004.02D5 (Yard Requirements - Front Yard Setback) of <br />the Roseville City Code based on the findings in Section 5 of the project report dated June 17, <br />2002, and subject to the following conditions:. <br /> <br />a. The applicant submitting a site plan with the exact measurement the principal <br />structure lies from the front property line, which will require locating the front <br />property comer pins. <br /> <br />b. The variance not exceeding the dimensions indicated on the submitted site plans <br />or a three foot encroachment from the porch foundation (based on staff analysis <br /> <br />1 <br />
