<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 17tÌl day of June 2002, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10006 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A4 <br />(REQUIREMENTS FOR INCREASED MAXIMUM SIZE) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY <br />CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1055 SHRYER AVENUE (PF 3397). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Knut Dahmann seeks a 171 square foot variance to Section 1004.01A4 <br />(Requirements for Increased Maximum Size) of the Roseville City Code to allow construction of <br />a 28 foot by 30 foot (840 sq. ft) detached accessory building (garage); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Dahmann's property is located at 1055 Shryer Avenue and legally <br />described at as: <br /> <br />Lot 7, Auditor's Subdivision No. 85 (PID#142923230003) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A4 allows accessory building square footage to a maximum <br />size of 1,008 square feet under a conditional use permit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Dahmann has proposed a detached accessory building requiring a <br />conditional use permit and variance to allow a 171 square foot increase from the Code <br />maximum; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />variance request by Mr. Dahmann and recommended (5-0) to approve the request, based on <br />findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated 6/05/02. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Knut <br />Dahmann a 171 square foot variance to Section 1004.01A4 of the Roseville City Code and a <br />conditional use permit to allow construction of a 28 foot by 30 foot (840 sq. ft.) detached <br />accessory building at 1055 Shryer Avenue based on the findings in Section 5 of the project <br />report dated June 17, 2002, and subject to the following conditions:. <br /> <br />a. The elimination of the allowance of a 120 square foot garden shed (allowed under <br />Section 1004.01A2) <br /> <br />1 <br />
