<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 1 ih day of July, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, Klausing, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10012 <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR THE <br />LIVABLE COMMUNITIES DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM FOR 2002 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, Minnesota, is a participant in the Livable <br />Communities Act's Housing Incentives Program for 2002 as determined by the Metropolitan <br />Council, and is therefore eligible to make application for funds under the Livable Communities <br />Demonstration Account; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has endeavored to make an application that meets the <br />Demonstration Account's purposes and criteria; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has the institutional, managerial and financial capability to ensure <br />adequate project administration; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations <br />as stated in the contract agreements; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota agrees to act as legal <br />sponsor for projects contained in the Demonstration Account application to be submitted on July <br />15, 2002; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to <br />apply to the Metropolitan Council for funding on behalf of the City of Roseville as a requirement <br />of submitting a grant application and to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement <br />the project on behalf of the applicant and upon final review by the City Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Schroeder and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Maschka, <br />Schroeder, Kough, Klausing, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHERE UPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
