EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on Monday, the 1 ih day of July, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. The following members were present: Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, Klausing, Kysylyczyn and the following were absent: None Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10012 CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR THE LIVABLE COMMUNITIES DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM FOR 2002 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, Minnesota, is a participant in the Livable Communities Act's Housing Incentives Program for 2002 as determined by the Metropolitan Council, and is therefore eligible to make application for funds under the Livable Communities Demonstration Account; and, WHEREAS, the City has endeavored to make an application that meets the Demonstration Account's purposes and criteria; and, WHEREAS, the City has the institutional, managerial and financial capability to ensure adequate project administration; and, WHEREAS, the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as stated in the contract agreements; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota agrees to act as legal sponsor for projects contained in the Demonstration Account application to be submitted on July 15, 2002; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to apply to the Metropolitan Council for funding on behalf of the City of Roseville as a requirement of submitting a grant application and to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the applicant and upon final review by the City Council. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Schroeder and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, Klausing, Kysylyczyn and the following voted against the same: None WHERE UPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
