<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 29th day of July 2002, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: Klausing <br /> <br />Council Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10013 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERIM USE PERMIT <br />FOR WALLY MCCARTHY AUTO GROUP <br />ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2445 PRIOR AVENUE (PF 3412). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wally McCarthy Auto Group in coordination with the Salvation Army has <br />requested an interim use permit to allow the temporary parking of new vehicles on a portion of <br />the west parking lot of the Salvation Army, 2445 Prior Avenue <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property located at 2445 Prior Avenue is legally described at as: <br /> <br />NEEDS CORRECT LEGAL DESCRIPTION (PID #092923230014 & 092923230015) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section lOl2.09A of the Roseville City Code states: the City Council may <br />authorize an interim use permit of property. Interim use may not be consistent with the land uses <br />designated on the adopted Land Use Plan. They may also fail to meet all of the zoning standards <br />established for the district within which it is located; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section lOl2.09B of the Roseville City Code states: the City Council may <br />attach conditions to interim use permits. In reviewing interim use permit applications, the City <br />will establish a specific date or event that will terminate the use on the property. The Council <br />will also determine that the approval of the interim use would not result in adverse effects on the <br />public health, safety and general welfare, and that it will not impose additional costs on the <br />public if it is necessary for the public to take the property in the future; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wally McCarthy Auto Group has (in the past few months) parked their <br />overflow new vehicles on the western lot of the Salvation Army with permission and a previous <br />lease; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Salvation has indicated support for allowing the parking of said vehicles <br />by Wally McCarthy Auto Group with a lease expiration date of June 10,2003; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br /> <br />1 <br />
