<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting ofthe City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 12th day of August, 2002, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Schroeder, Maschka, and Kough and the <br />following were absent: Kysylyczyn. <br /> <br />Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 10017 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING CITY PROJECT <br />P-02-16 COUNTY ROAD C RECONSTRUCTION - PHASE I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Roseville adopted July 22,2002, <br />fixed a date for a public hearing on Project P-02-l6 and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on August 12,2002; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that <br />in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council <br />held a public hearing on August 12,2002, to consider the proposed construction of Project <br />P-02-l6 consisting of the installation of concrete curb and gutter, colored crosswalks, colored <br />concrete in the medians, sidewalks, some landscaping, pedestrian lighting, sanitary sewer repair, <br />drainage facilities, and necessary appurtenances on all that property abutting County Road C <br />(between Long Lake Road and East Snelling Service Drive) as described in the Notice of <br />Hearings at a cost presently estimated at $7,587,269 and substantially in accordance with the <br />preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in the office of the City <br />Manager; at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard <br />thereon, and having considered the views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby <br />determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed and that all streets <br />be constructed substantially as recommended in the feasibility report. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption ofthe foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Klausing and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mashka, Schroeder, Kough, <br />Klausing and the following voted against the same: none. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
