City Manage.~s Agenda Section: "5 CONSENT City of Roseville: Request for Sign age by Schultz is in Stitches (PF3414) 1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: 1.1 "Schultz is in Stitches", 964 Lombard Avenue, has requested approval to post four plywood signs, 2' x 4' each, on City property within the Roseville City Centre campus and other locations in the community, from November 2 through November 10 for their 25th Holiday Boutique. 1.2 Specifically, "Schultz is in Stitches" has requested permission to post directional signage (20 Yz "x 22 /2") at the following locations: 1) Lexington and Co. Rd. C 2) Lexington and W oodhill 3) Entrance to Civic Center Drive 4) Front parking lot at Oval 5) Rear parking lot at Oval (W oodhill) 6) Hamline Shopping Center (Share signage space on existing sign) 7) Co. Rd. B and Lexington 8) Co. Rd. C and Victoria 1.3 Sign 6 is a shared signage issue between owners, on a message board. If new signage is proposed, a separate permit at Hamline Center will be necessary. 1.4 Signs 7 and 8 are outside of the City Campus event location and are prohibited by the City Sign Code. 2.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION: By motion, approve the request for temporary signs at locations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 with a minimum of 15 feet setback from any property line and outside of any corner safety view triangle, consistent with City Sign Code, Section 1009.031. to provide event identifcation and traffic direction. No action is necessary on Sign 6. A standard sign permit on a commercial site can be issued by staff.
