EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * * * * * * * <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 27th day of August, <br /> 2012, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Pust, McGehee, Willmus, Johnson, and Roe and <br /> the following were absent:None. <br /> Councilmember McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11001 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS <br /> FOR FAIRVIEW PATHWAY PROJECT- PHASE 2 <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement,according to the plans <br /> and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were <br /> received on Wednesday, August 8,2012, at 10:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to <br /> law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> BIDDER AMOUNT <br /> Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. $ 623,966.36 <br /> T.A. Schifsky& Sons, Inc. $ 583,392.63 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that T.A. Schifsky& Sons, Inc., of North Saint Paul, Minnesota, is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of$583,392.63, and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br /> with T.A. Schifsky&Sons,Inc.,of North Saint Paul,Minnesota,for$583,392.63 in <br /> the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans <br /> and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the <br /> office of the City Engineer. <br /> 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br /> the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the <br /> next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br />
