EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * * * * * * * <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on 2nd day of March, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten; and Roe, and the <br /> following members were absent: none. <br /> Member Laliberte introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11212 <br /> RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON <br /> VICTORIA STREET BETWEEN LARPENTUER AVE AND COUNTY ROAD B <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, Victoria Street between Larpenteur Ave and County Road B is a Municipal State <br /> Aid roadway; <br /> AND WHEREAS, such roadways are proposed to be reconstructed using Municipal State Aid <br /> funds and the reconstruction of such roadways must conform to established State Aid standards; <br /> AND WHEREAS, State Aid standards do not allow parking on both sides of 2 lane roads <br /> narrower than 38 feet; <br /> AND WHEREAS, Victoria Street will be reconstructed to a 32 foot width from Larpenteur Ave <br /> to County Road B, parking will be permitted on the east side and "no parking" signs will be <br /> posted on the west side of the street. <br /> AND WHEREAS, Victoria Street has two vertical curves that do not safely accommodate <br /> parking on either side of the street through and approaching the curves. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. Parking is hereby prohibited along the west side of Victoria Street from Larpenteur <br /> Avenue to County Road B; <br /> 2. Parking is hereby prohibited within 100 feet on either side of the end of the horizontal <br /> curves on Victoria Street. <br /> The motion was duly seconded by Member McGehee and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br /> following voted in favor thereof: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten; and Roe and the <br /> following voted against: none. <br />
