EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 8th day of June, 2015, at 6:00 <br /> p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten, and Mayor Roe. <br /> and the following were absent: None. <br /> Member Etten introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11223 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) URBAN COUNTY REQUALIFICATION <br /> PROCESS WITH THE RAMSEY COUNTY HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT <br /> AUTHORITY AND THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Roseville ("City") and the Ramsey County Housing and Redevelopment <br /> Authority ("Authority") have signed and renewed CDBG cooperative agreements since <br /> approximately 1985; and <br /> WHEREAS, in 1992, the Home Investment Partnership Act ("HOME") program was also added <br /> as a financial resource for Ramsey County("County"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the County's eligibility for both programs and the actual dollar amounts received <br /> are based upon the population accumulated through the cooperating jurisdictions; and <br /> WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") has required an <br /> amendment to the agreement as part of the current request for requalification; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has found and determined that approving the required amendment and <br /> agreement renewal with the Authority is in the public interest. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council ("Council") of the City of <br /> Roseville, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. The Council approves the Amendment to Joint Cooperation Agreement, subject to <br /> modifications that do not alter the substance of the transaction and that are approved by the <br /> City Attorney, provided that execution of the Joint Cooperation Agreement shall be <br /> conclusive evidence of approval. <br />
