<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of June, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Schroeder, Kysylyczyn, Maschka, and Klausing. <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10109 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 466 SQ. FT . VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />420 TERRACE DRIVE (PF3481) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sylvia Sieferman has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A6 (Maximum <br />Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction a 22 foot by 22 foot <br />(500 sq. ft.) family room and a future 332 sq. ft. in-ground pool; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Sieferman parcel is located at 420 Terrace Drive and legally described <br /> <br />as: <br /> <br />Lot 5, Block 1, Western Slopes. <br />PID: 01-29-23-31-0044. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code limits a single family <br />residential parcel to maximum total surface area coverage (lot coverage) of 30% or in the case of <br />the Sieferman parcel 3,392 square feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Sieferman seeks approval to allow an additional 466 square feet of <br />impervious coverage creating a parcel total of3,858 square feet or 35.2%; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Sieferman variance request (Section 1004.01A6) on June 4, 2003, and recommended (6-0) <br />approval of the request (eliminated the 80 square foot front entry porch), based on findings <br />outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated June 4, 2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Sylvia <br />Sieferman a 466 square foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) <br />of the Roseville City Code allowing the construction a 500 square foot family room and 332 <br />square foot future in-ground pool at 420 Terrace Drive, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The parcel being limited to 3,858 square feet of impervious coverage. <br /> <br />2. The family room addition not exceeding 500 square feet in size and meeting the <br />required 5 foot side yard setback. <br /> <br />1 <br />
