<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of June, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Schroeder, Kysylyczyn, Maschka, and Klausing <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10112 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 859 SQ. FT. VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />600 SEXTANT AVENUE (PF3478). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bernard & Kathy Laur have requested a variance to Section 1004.01A6 <br />(Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction a 225 <br />square foot three-season porch; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Laur parcel is located at 600 Sextant Avenue and legally described as: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 1, Tuerk's Outback <br /> <br />PID: 12-29-23-30-0048 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code limits a single family <br />residential parcel to maximum total surface area coverage (lot coverage) of 30% or in the case of <br />the Laur parcel 3,312 square feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bernard & Kathy Laur seek approval to allow an additional 859 square feet <br />of impervious coverage (pre-existing and proposed) creating a parcel total of 4, 171 square feet or <br />38%; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Laur variance request (Section 1004.01A6) on June 4, 2003, and recommended (6-0) approval of <br />the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project <br />report dated June 4, 2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant <br />Bernard & Kathy Laur a 859 square foot V ARlANCE to Section 1004.01A6 (Maximum Total <br />Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code allowing the construction a 225 square foot three- <br />season porch at 600 Sextant Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The provision of an accurately scaled site plan indicating existing and proposed <br />conditions, allowing the Community development Staff to verify existing and <br />proposed lot coverage. <br /> <br />1 <br />
