<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of June, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Schroeder, Kysylyczyn, Maschka, and Klausing. <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10113 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN 887 SQUARE FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION <br />1004.02A6 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />2735 FERNWOOD STREET (PF3486) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, John Meyer has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A6 (Maximum <br />Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the replacement and expansion of a <br />driveway on the premises; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Meyer parcel is located at 2735 Femwood Street and legally described <br /> <br />as: <br /> <br />Lot 3, Block 8, Fernwood Terrace Plat 4. <br />PID: 03-29-23-43-0003. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) require a maximum lot <br />coverage on a residential parcel of 30%; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Meyer parcel is afforded by City Code a lot coverage of 3,596 sq. ft, of <br />which the parcel currently occupies 3,572 square feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Meyer proposal to replace and expand the driveway will increase the <br />impervious coverage on the parcel to 4,473 sq. ft. or 37%; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Meyer variance request (Section 1004.01A6) on June 4,2003, and recommended (6-0) approval <br />of the request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project <br />report dated June 4,2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant John <br />Meyer an 887 square foot V ARlANCE to Section 1004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) of <br />the Roseville City Code allowing the replacement and expansion of a residential driveway on the <br />premises at 2735 Femwood Street, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The proposed improvements must not exceed 4,483 square feet of impervious <br />coverage or 37% of the parcel size. <br /> <br />1 <br />
