<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
<br />OF CITY COUNCIL
<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE
<br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
<br />
<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting ofthe City Council of the City of Roseville,
<br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville,
<br />Minnesota, on Monday, the 29th day of March, 2004, at 7:00 o'clock p.m.
<br />
<br />The following members were present: Thlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing and the
<br />following were absent: none.
<br />
<br />Council member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION 10210
<br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS
<br />FOR 2004 CONTRACT B
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and
<br />specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Friday,
<br />March 19,2004, at 2:00 p.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received
<br />complying with the advertisement:

<br />Friedges Contracting Co. LLC $359,927.31
<br />Burschville Construction, Inc. $399,135.70
<br />RoSo Contracting, Inc. $448,716.00
<br />F.F. J edlicki, Inc. $524,359.00
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it appears that Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc., of Ramsey, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible
<br />bidder at the tabulated price of$296,785.00 and
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota:
<br />
<br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Dave Perkins
<br />Contracting, Inc. for $296,785.00 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements
<br />according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in
<br />the office ofthe City Manager.

<br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made
<br />with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
<br />until contracts have been signed.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Roseville, Minnesota:
<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Schroeder and upon vote
<br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Thlan, Kough, Maschka and Klausing and the
<br />following voted against the same: none.

<br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
