<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1117 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.130 PROVIDING FOR DATES OF <br />ERECTION AND REMOVAL OF POLITICAL SIGNS <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby <br />ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 14.040 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />14.040. Flashing Siqns Prohibited. <br /> <br />signs giving off intermittent or rotating beams shall not be <br />permi tted in any district. Where the message or graphic <br />content of a sign can be changed by mechanical or electronic <br />means, such message may not change more than once every <br />twenty-four hours except messages displaying time and <br />temperature. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />section 14.130 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />14.130 Political Siqns. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />In years when a <br />political signs may <br />(10) days following <br />such signs must be <br />their being posted. <br /> <br />State General Election is held, <br />be posted from August 1 until ten <br />the State General Election. Any <br />removed by those responsible for <br /> <br />2. In years when no State General Election is held, if <br />there is a primary for any office, political signs for <br />all offices may be posted no more than twenty-one (21) <br />days before the primary election. When there is no <br />primary for any office, such signs may be posted not <br />more than twenty-one (21) days before the General <br />Election. All such signs must be removed by those <br />responsible for their being posted within five (5) days <br />following the General Election. Said political signs <br />shall not exceed twelve (12) square feet gross area. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from <br />and after its passage and publication. <br />
