<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 1122 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING SIGNS BY AMENDING THE CITY CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE SECTION 14.190 AND SECTION 14.600. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 14.190 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 14.190. Window Siqns. Signs affixed to windows, <br />or placed within 36" of a window to be viewed from the <br />exterior of the building, shall not occupy more than 25% <br />of the total window area, nor shall they be placed in a <br />location that would block the view into the building from <br />a public street of the clerk or cashier's area. Under no <br />circumstances shall the total area of window signage <br />exceed 1/2 the allowable area of wall signage for the <br />affected building. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />Section 14.600 is hereby amended by adding a new Section F, <br /> <br />and redesignating existing Section F as G, to read as follows: <br /> <br />F. Wall signage for tenant spaces on portions of <br />the buildings that do not front on public streets shall <br />be allowed an area of wall signage not to exceed 1/2 the <br />area allowed if the same facade fronted a public street. <br /> <br />G. The height of pylon signs shall be limited to 20 <br />feet in the B-1, B-1B" B-2, B-3, B-4 and B-6 Districts; <br />and 25 feet in the SC and I Districts. <br /> <br />III. <br />This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and <br />after its passage and publication. <br />PASSED By the City Council of the City of Roseville, this <br />26th day of April , 1993. <br /> <br />MAYOR: <br /> <br />U~"- ~ f~ <br /> <br />A~ <br /> <br />city Manager <br />
