Human Rights Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 20, 2015 <br />Commissioners: Chair Wayne Groff, Vice Chair Kaying Thao, Mary Bachhuber, Molli <br />Slade, David Singleton (6:30 p.m.), and Arlene Chistiansen <br />Youth Commissioners: Gabriel Cederberg <br />Commissioners Absent: Lisa Carey and Joan Dao <br />Staff Present: Kari Collins <br />Call to Order <br />The Human Rights Commission (HRC) meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Chair Groff <br />requested roll call. <br />Approve Agenda <br />Commissioner Bachhuber recommended moving Item S.a. to the end of the Old Business <br />discussions. <br />Commissioner Christiansen added Item 6.b. St. Paul Foundation Grant. <br />Commissioner Slade added Item S.d. Update on Mental Health Forum. <br />Commission Bachhuber suggested adding Civility Training to a future agenda. <br />Commissioner Bachhuber moved and Commissioner Thao seconded a motion to approve <br />the agenda as amended. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Approve Minutes of April Meeting <br />Commissioner Christiansen stated line 32 should be "Commissioner Bachhuber", line 66 inset a <br />comma between "country" and "you", line 84 should reference "United Nations Universal <br />Declaration of Human Rights", line 84 change "was" to "were", line 102 insert a comma <br />between "sponsored" and "one" and insert a semicolon between after "that", line 120 change <br />"teachers" to "teachers"", line 121 strike "but it would" and insert "but adding art", line 127 <br />insert a comma between "done" and "poetry", line 147 insert a comma between "contest" and <br />"then", line 160 insert "The feedback was given to Ms. Collins via email" because this is where <br />it occurred, line 201 strike "someone" and insert "a car dealer", line 223 insert a comma between <br />
